NIS students won the nomination “Solve for tomorrow”

Yelzada Bakytbek and Araylym Oral, students of Almaty NIS Chemical and Biological Department, became finalists of the republican contest of social projects among middle and high school students “Solve for tomorrow” and were in the top 10 among 640 participating teams.

The gifted students received a certificate for 300,000 tng to improve the project “FilterAirN” - an innovative technology that helps minimize carbon dioxide emissions into the air. Supervisors: chemistry teacher A. Abisheva, Fablab engineer A. Kalabay.

The Solve for Tomorrow competition is a Samsung initiative that helps future young leaders develop creative skills and solve important problems out of the box through science, technology, engineering and math (STEM).
