We are KiVa school: the mentor's hour will be devoted to anti-bullying program

At the Intellectual School of Chemistry and Biology in Almaty, the cycle of training of school staff in the KiVa anti-bullying program continues. The next seminar of the new academic year was held for the curatorial service. Already soon KiVa lesson will be included in the training schedule, and curatorial hours will be held in this direction.

At the workshop, the certified KiVa team introduced the trainees to the main aspects of the program, effective methods of dealing with bullying among students. Starting this academic year at NIS, the KiVa team will be augmented with teachers and will reach out to the entire school community. It is expected that this will allow for a rapid response to any bullying incidents and work through an algorithm with both the bully and the victim.

This team can be approached by anyone who notices such incidents. In the next workshops it is expected to study the modules of the KiVa program.
