NIS students welcomed German friends For the seventh year, the Almaty NIS of the Chemical and Biological direction has been continuing cooperation with the Ernst Abbe Gymnasium, located in the city of Oberkochen, Baden-Würtenberg region of Germany. At the beginning of the last academic year, intellectuals who speak German as a second foreign language traveled to Germany for 2 weeks, attended classes at the gymnasium, improved their language and got to know Goethe's homeland better.

Within the framework of the partnership, a project was initiated on the topic ”What people do in Germany and Kazakhstan". Our students, with the support of German friends, conducted research at large German enterprises.

Now the roles have changed and NIS students have already welcomed German friends in Almaty with open arms. NIS Director Maslikhat Zamirbekyzy wished the delegation of the partner school success. A campus tour of the school was organized for the guests, where they got acquainted with the life of the school, sat down at the machine for a master class dedicated to the ancient Kazakh pottery, specially organized by art teachers Elena Ermilova and Almaz Dzhumagaliev. The guests were pleased to receive their creativity as a souvenir - a clay vase. Students of the gymnasium, which is named after the famous scientist, astronomer, physicist Ernst Abbe, with the support of Kazakhstani friends, will continue the project “What people do in Germany and Kazakhstan” with visits to enterprises in the southern capital. It is also planned to tour the natural attractions of the Almaty region, attend classes at an Intellectual school.
