On February 25, a real “task force” of specialists from the Ministry of Emergency Situations arrived at NIS Almaty–Nauryzbay. Instead of regular lessons, students and teachers took part in an engaging dialogue, explored real-life cases, and gained practical skills that could one day help save their own lives and the lives of others.

Students and educators learned how to act in the event of an earthquake, fire, or flood. They practiced first-aid procedures to be carried out before emergency services arrive and learned how to properly use personal protective equipment. The demonstration of firefighting devices and first-aid techniques sparked particular interest among the students — everything could be seen up close, practiced hands-on, and discussed directly with professionals.
