NIS Almaty-Nauryzbay hosted a literary and educational event dedicated to the 90th anniversary of Kabdesh Zhumadilov, a prominent representative of Kazakh literature and People's Writer of Kazakhstan.

The grand opening of the event began with a performance by the dombra players of the Nur-Sazy national instrument orchestra and continued with a rich spiritual and cultural program. During the meeting, the guest of honor, the writer's son, scholar, and renowned historian Arman Zhumadilov, answered questions and spoke about the writer's life, his creative legacy, and his special place in Kazakh literature. He also shared little-known facts about Kabdesh Zhumadilov's significant contribution to the policy of resettling Kazakhs from China to their historical homeland.

The students were convinced that Kabdesh Zhumadilov's historical novels, including his landmark two-part series “Son'gy kosh,” vividly reflect the spirit of the era, national identity, and ethnographic authenticity, leaving a deep impression on every reader. At the end of the meeting, Arman Zhumadilov presented the school library with a three-volume collection of the writer's works from the Kabdesh Zhumadilov Foundation.
