A Historic Achievement: NIS Graduate Awarded Full Scholarship to the University of Cambridge

A graduate of Nazarbayev Intellectual School Almaty–Nauryzbay, Enlik Bakytbekova has become the first in the history of NIS to be awarded a full undergraduate academic scholarship from one of the world’s most prestigious universities — the University of Cambridge.

💫 Enlik is a silver medalist of the 57th International Chemistry Olympiad (IChO), a three-time prize winner of the international “TUYMAADA” Olympiad, and a three-time winner of the national “Daryn” Chemistry Olympiad.

Her academic supervisor is Sholpan Abisheva, a chemistry teacher and recipient of the Order of “Qurmet.”
