International Accreditation Confirmed: NIS Almaty-Medeu Successfully Passes CIS Evaluation

From 15 to 20 February 2025, experts from the Council of International Schools (CIS) conducted an official accreditation visit to NIS Almaty-Medeu.

During the visit, the эксперт team carried out a comprehensive review of the school’s educational processes, assessing the quality of teaching and learning, the professional competence of educators, and the overall safety and supportiveness of the school environment.

Following the evaluation, the school received a high appraisal. The reviewers highlighted the strong academic motivation and responsibility demonstrated by students, as well as a culture built on mutual respect, trust, and support. Particular recognition was given to the effective implementation of the well-being system, the high level of teacher professionalism, and a well-established culture of collaboration within the school community.

In addition, the transparency of the assessment system and the alignment of the curriculum with international standards were positively noted. The school’s clear focus on developing students’ global competencies was also commended.

The Council of International Schools is a respected international organization dedicated to accrediting educational institutions and promoting best practices in global education.
