NIS Student Develops an AI-Based Psychological Support Web Service

28 January 2026 11:03

A student of NIS Almaty–Medeu, Alisher Usmanov, has developed an AI-based psychological support web service designed to help people experiencing stress, anxiety, and emotional burnout.

The project is implemented as a web platform and is adapted for use on both mobile devices and computers. The service operates 24/7 and helps users organize their thoughts in the moment, reduce anxiety levels, and gain emotional relief.

The AI service is powered by a professional knowledge base that includes literature in psychology, sports psychology, and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). The platform does not provide diagnoses and does not replace in-person psychotherapy; its primary purpose is to offer support and guidance.

A key social value of the project is its support for the Kazakh language, which makes psychological assistance more accessible to Kazakh-speaking users. Despite being at an early stage of development, the web service is already used by 53 people.

“During my sports training, I experienced firsthand how psychological stability directly affects performance. I noticed that constant pressure caused my teammates to lose enjoyment in what they loved doing. That was when I realized people need a tool that can provide professional and structured support at any time. Today, when users say the service helps them feel better, I understand that this project is truly making a difference,” says Alisher Usmanov.
