Сompetition dedicated to the work of the great Kazakh poet and thinker Abai

An intra-school competition dedicated to the work of the great Kazakh poet and thinker Abai Kunanbayev has started at the Nazarbayev Intellectual School in Petropavlovsk.

Last academic year, large-scale events dedicated to the 180th anniversary of Abai were organized at the Petropavlovsk NIS: reading contests, intellectual competitions, a drawing contest, scientific and creative projects, and an art festival. This year, the school decided to continue this good tradition and launch a new cycle of competitions that will bring together all students and shanyraks.

According to the results of all competitions, the students of the winning shanyrak will have a unique opportunity to go to Abai's homeland with the support of sponsors.

The first competition within the framework of the project was the intellectual test "Abaydy tanyp bil!". 9 students from each shanyrak took part in it. The test tasks were compiled in three areas: the life of Abai, the work of Abai and the words of edification (karasozder). This competition is aimed at deepening students' knowledge of the heritage of Abai, developing interest in national culture and the formation of spiritual and moral values.
