A dombra report concert was held in the NIS of Petropavlovsk

A reportable concert of 7th grade students within the framework of the compulsory subject "Dombira" was held at the Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Petropavlovsk. The performance of the students took place in the open air in the presence of parents and guests of the school.

The young musicians performed several kuys that they had learned during the school year. The concert program also included vocal and dance performances. The holiday turned out to be lively and warm, the parents were able to see what the children had learned over the year.

- It is noteworthy that for some students, the dombra lesson at school became the first opportunity to pick up an instrument and start playing. During the year, the students mastered dombra at their own level, learned several kujas, and performed at concerts. Then they will hone their skills," said Viktor Sosin, the school's director.

The Dombira project for 7th grade students is being implemented in the Petropavlovsk NIS as a mandatory one and is aimed at instilling national values and fostering love for Kazakh musical culture.
