In celebration of People’s Unity Day, a qualification tournament for 3rd and 4th chess ranks was held at the FIDE Academy “World of Chess”. Six students from the International Steppe School of Almaty participated, with three successfully achieving the 4th rank.

Results:

• Ruslan Kalatygin scored 7 out of 10 points, placing 4th among 54 participants.

• Adiyar Adilmyrza scored 6 points.

• Dinmukhamed Rakhmatullaev scored 6 points.
