Rural school teachers hone their skills with NIS teachers

Today, the teachers of Taraz NIS held online seminar for teachers of rural schools. The event within the framework of the project “Auyl mektebi” was organized with the support of the regional educational and methodological cabinet.

The seminar was attended by about 70 teachers of the school-gymnasium named after B.Besbayev and the secondary school named after N.Akshabayev, assigned to the Intellectual School.

During the seminar, history teacher Ainur Kulymbetova taught the subtleties of working with visual data, and English teachers Balnur Kydyrbaeva and Elzira Bizhigitova explained in detail the methods of differentiated learning.

– In high schools, English is taught from the 1st grade, in secondary schools – only in the 5th grade. In the 7th grade, there is a large gap in the language level of children of the two schools, in reducing which helps various methods of differentiated teaching, – said the English teachers of the Intellectual School.

What are the inactive teaching methods? Geography teacher Gulnaz Sopbekova and Mariya Gochiyayeva began their reports with the search for the answer to this question. The teachers of the village school gave various examples from their experience and revealed the content of the question as much as possible.

Biology teacher Serikkul Utenova focused on the features of the curriculum, including specific examples and evidence of how biology is linked to other disciplines.

– I use the methods of conducting laboratory work from the practice of NIS. I supplemented them with methods that I knew myself. Students have a development, increased activity in the classroom, – admits the teacher of biology/chemistry of the school-gymnasium named after B.Besbaev Esenova K.K.

In conclusion, teachers from both sides were able to make sure that feedback and partnerships in activities are one of the most effective ways to improve professional skills.
