Students of the Intellectual school of Taraz Yerslan Shakenov and Ayan Zhapsar will go to the educational trip to the University of Cranfield. This opportunity the guys got by becoming finalists of the contest “Nazarbayev Fund Schools Challenge”.
Ayan and Yerslan presented their design, technology, technical solutions and ideas aimed at improving the efficiency of aircraft flights.
– We had a task to design a super-efficient aircraft. For its construction, we used lightweight and durable materials, as well as introduced two electric motors. Our aircraft has a more aerodynamic wing shape, which increases its lift. We express our gratitude to the organizers of the competition for a wonderful chance to show our work, – shared the young inventors.
The final of the competition was attended by 100 best teams, 500 participants from all regions of Kazakhstan. The jury consisted of local and foreign experts.
The competition is held under the auspices of the Fund of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Elbasy. The organizers are the Ministry of justice of Kazakhstan and RSE “NIIS” together with Nazarbayev University and The British Cranfield University. The partners of the Competition are the national air carrier of Kazakhstan “Air Astana” and the Fund for the development of social projects “Samruk – Kazyna Trust”.
