The winners of the traditional HackNU hackathon organized by the Nazarbayev University included students of the Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Taraz.
Students and schoolchildren of Kazakhstan and foreign educational institutions solved the business problems of large IT companies – Google, BTS Digital, Facebook and Microsoft.
Sultan Mustafin, Azat Kazhimukhan and Sayazhan Onlasyn presented their solution to BTS Digital for their Aitu platform, took third place and received a prize of 100,000 tenge.
– In 36 hours of continuous programming, we have created a working application for Aitu users. We made a bet on the usability and design of the application, which was noted by the company’s representatives, – Sultan Mustafin comments on the result.
Students have developed a mobile social application “Cedra”, which integrates with the Aitu application and allows users to exchange messages directly inside the messenger.
– This is the first hackathon in the life of all the team members. We did not expect to get a prize, but our enthusiasm and will to win allowed us to develop the application no worse than the students of IT universities in the country, – said the youngest member of the team, Azat Kazhimukhan.
Young developers are considering the further development of their application and its promotion in the Kazakhstan market.
