More than 50 kilograms of garbage was collected by students of Taraz Intellectual school during the environmental campaign “Smiling earth day”, organized by the boarding school “Bilim-Innovation”.
The event was attended by 60 school and college students. They were divided into teams and cleared from the garbage the territory of districts nearby to school. For the amount of garbage collected, points were awarded taking into account the requirements of a separate collection, the sum of which determined the winners.
As a result of the event, 400 kg of garbage was collected in three hours. Cash prizes and eco-gifts were waiting for the most active participants.
– We are always happy to take part in environmental events. After all, they are useful for us and for society. Today we learned how to sort garbage correctly, had a very interesting time and found new friends, – shared the “eco-fighters” of the Intellectual school.
