More than 160 seventh graders of Taraz Intellectual school took part in the global movement “Hour of code”. For one hour students were engaged in programming, performed tasks in a simple and fun way.
“Hour of Code” is the largest educational event, which covers several million pupils and students from more than 180 countries. The campaign is aimed at popularizing the study of computer science and programming, increasing the prestige of IT professions, which are already among the most popular and highly paid in the labour market.
Participation in the action “Hour of Code” is a unique chance for each student to feel part of a big and significant event, to declare their abilities, to realize the importance of studying computer science for their success in the future, and within one hour to master the basics of programming.
NIS students in Taraz won prizes at the XIX Republican competition of research projects and creative works “Zerde”.
