International specialist in education, associate professor of Nazarbayev University, author of multiple articles and books in the field of school education Mir Afzal on March 11, 2019 held a presentation “The role of academic programs in the development of global citizens” for teachers of the Intellectual school in Taraz.
In his presentation, he spoke about the methods of developing students ‘ core competencies, allowing them to actively interact with the world, to be responsible and active citizens and how students can contribute to a more just and sustainable world.
In addition, the Professor noted that Kazakhstan has extensive experience in maintaining friendship and harmony, having representatives of such different nationalities. This experience, he said, deserves to be spread around the world.
