March 30, 2019 in Taraz held a regional conference “Research activities of teachers.” The organizers were Nazarbayev Intellectual school and the Center for pedagogical mastery.
The purpose of the conference was to exchange experience and summarize the research work of teachers on the development of education in the context of globalization.
The conference was attended by representatives of secondary schools of Zhambyl region, specialists of the regional educational and methodical cabinet, coachs of the Center for pedagogical mastery and teachers of the Intellectual school in Taraz. In total, 127 teachers of secondary schools took part in the event.
More than 50 thematic reports were heard in seven areas of the presentation session, a poster session was held on the results of the development of projects and studies. Also, were organized master classes of Taraz Intellectual school teachers on the methodology of teacher practice’s research and implementation of the teacher development project, project learning, activation in CLIL and development of students’ research skills.
At the end of the conference, the participants provided constructive feedback, which confirmed the success of cooperation. It was decided to continue the tradition of the conference annually in order to monitor the effectiveness of the research work of teachers of the region, to expand the geography of the participants of the next conference by involving teachers of rural schools, as well as to provide regular practical support to teachers on the implementation of the approach of lesson study.
Participants of the event were awarded certificates. According to the results of the conference was released a collection of materials.
