Today, the regional practical seminar on “Effective teaching methods within the updated content of education” was held at the Nazarbayev Intellectual school of Taraz. It was attended by about 120 teachers of the region, who increased their competence to implement the updated content of secondary education.

The main participants of the seminar were teachers of history, artwork and physical culture. They got acquainted with modern and effective teaching methods and improved their teaching skills.

– Today at the seminar, we considered the ways of formative assessment. We learned several methods of assessment and attended classes. You can especially emphasize the warm and trusting relationship between teachers and students, modern techniques used in the classroom. I also liked the national games сabinet. We plan to open the same office in our school, – said the teacher of physical culture of the T. Ryskulov school Gulsim Bektemisova.

Teachers attended master classes and workshops on “Effective planning and conducting Lesson study” and “Using a variety of methods and techniques of formative assessment at different stages of the lesson”, as well as lessons in history, art and physical culture in grades 7, 8, 9, and 10.

– Today we learned how to conduct research in the classroom. Specific methods were demonstrated, starting with planning, setting goals and ending with using different types of tasks. We realized that it is possible to conduct not only a study of the lesson but also a study of the class itself, – shared their impressions artwork teachers of the secondary school named after T.Aubakirov.
