In Nazarbayev Intellectual school of Taraz with the purpose of strengthening of interethnic relations started its work the project “Under one shanyrak”. In the framework of this project, socially significant events are implemented that promote the development of national culture, the formation of Kazakhstan’s patriotism, and the strengthening of inter-ethnic and inter-confessional accord among representatives of various ethnic groups of the school.
To date, the school teaches children of 13 nationalities. Each event is held with the participation of the Assembly of Peoples of Kazakhstan in the Zhambyl region, which includes more than 73 ethno-cultural associations. Meetings were held with representatives of such public associations as the Association of “Dungan Cultural Centers “Vinhua” of Zhambyl Oblast”, “The Society of Germans of Zhambyl Region”, with representatives of the Tatar and Azerbaijani communities. During the meetings they told about the peculiarity of national culture, the history and tradition of their people.
The project is implemented on the initiative of the teacher-organizer-curators of the school and the events are held according to the plan.
