August 27, 2018 in the framework of the Republican August conference of teachers of education of the Republic of Kazakhstan “Human Capital in the conditions of the fourth industrial revolution” on the basis of the Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Taraz will be held regional sectional meetings on the updated content of education for teachers of the 6th, 8th grades of general education schools.

Sectional sessions will be held in two directions: for teachers of the natural-mathematical direction and for teachers of the humanitarian direction and physical culture, where 625 teachers of the region, including school principals and methodologists, will take part.

The work of the section will begin with an opening speech of Turmakhanbetova Rakhilya, the Education Department Head of the Akimat of Zhambyl Oblast. The principal of Nazarbayev Intellectual school in Taraz Bainazarov Talgat will speak on “Updating the content of education in 2018-2019” and the principal of the branch of the Center for Pedagogical Excellence in Taraz Kokhaeva Esenkul will talk about the “Results of experience translation of Nazarbayev Intellectual schools in the region”.

According to the program of the event, master classes on subjects are planned: “Features of the curriculum of the updated content and criterial evaluation”, the trainers of which will be the teachers of Nazarbayev Intellectual school of Taraz. Trainers of the branch of the Center for Pedagogical Excellence in Taraz will conduct a series of workshops on time management for the effective management of the lesson, reflective writing in the practice of the teacher, the use of qualitative and quantitative research data to improve the practice of teaching. And also the teachers of Nazarbayev Intellectual school in Taraz will acquaint their colleagues teaching the subject in English with the approaches of CLIL technology. On the dialogue site, the school coordinators will be given the opportunity to receive answers to their questions on the system of criterial evaluation.

During the whole work of the section, exhibition will work sales and download areas for participants of the meeting, where teachers can purchase methodical products, as well as receive the necessary materials.
