The research work of students of the Intellectual school in Taraz won the first place in the International competition.
Work in chemistry of 12 grade students Aidana Daniyarkyzy and Azamat Sultanbai “Synthesis and study of properties of materials based on cadmium sulfide, obtained by the sol-gel method” won the first place of the International scientific contest “Research chemist”.
Aidana and Azamat studied the possibility of obtaining semiconductor nanomaterials using the sol-gel method and considered the practical possibility of its use as elements of domestic solar cells. According to them, the obtained materials based on cadmium sulfide are very important initial structural elements in instrument engineering, and can also be used to create flexible and inexpensive solar cells, laser diodes.
It is worth recalling that in last year’s contest the research projects of 10 grade students Yulduz Halmukhamedova and Aruzhan Keneshbekova and 12 graders Damir Rakhimov and Aida Batyrbaeva were awarded the diplomas of first and third degrees.
