“Spark” team of Taraz Intellectual school is in the top five among 60 teams of the Republic.
Team “Spark” of the Nazarbayev Intellecutally school in Taraz where Diana Namazbayeva, Kymbat Khalymbetova, Aigerim, Duiset and Aneliya Abdimalik among the five best of the 60 teams that took part in the “Technovation challenge”. Their mobile application “Kindmind” was highly appreciated by the jury.
With their IT invention, the girls wanted to solve the problem of people with hearing impairments.
– The app catches incoming audio alerts and vibrating gives a sign to the user. Opening it user can read the incoming audio message in text form, – shared one of the authors of the idea Diana Namazbayeva.
The application is convenient because it can be used offline. Now the program translates alerts in English, Russian and Kazakh languages. In the future, the team headed by Balzhan Duisekeeva plans to expand the functionality of the application, including the launch of other languages.
Now the works recognized as the best will be evaluated by international experts. In the future, the authors of the selected projects will go to the final round of the competition, which will be held this autumn in San Francisco.
