The vocal competition “Eki Zhuldyz” was held in the Nazarbayev Intellectual school of Taraz within the framework of the project “Uly Dala akyndary”.  5 pairs of teachers and students took part in the event dedicated to the work of M. Makatayev and aimed at determining the best performers.

According to the terms of the competition, at the first stage, the participants performed songs from the poet’s work, at the second stage they performed works on a free theme.

– The contest was based on songs based on poems by the poet Mukagali Makatayev. We hope that the writer’s deep thoughts reached the hearts of his listeners. Participants tried and presented decent numbers. The songs were performed only with a live voice, without a phonogram, – said Deputy Director Aisha Zholdasbekova.

The skill of the performers was evaluated by the Director of the creative centre “Media”, vocalist, children’s producer Kalipa Bokhanova, senior teacher of the Department of Culture and art of Taraz state University, vocalist, concertmaster Zaman Begimbetov, teacher-organizer of the Nazarbayev Intellectual school of Taraz, winner of the last year song contest “Eki Zhuldyz” Gani Adenov.

The jury members evaluated the participants’ singing skills, live voice performance and stage image. So the Grand Prix of the contest received a teacher Galia Yeszhanova and student Sabyrzhan Kudiyarkhan. The first place went to the team of teacher Maria Gochiyaeva and student Maral Maratova, the second place went to teacher Zhanar Abilakimova and student Zere Esentai. Third place was taken by the teacher Bogdan Erkebek and student Nurdaulet Kumbatyrov.

The winners and participants of the school song contest ” Eki Zhuldyz ” were awarded letters of thanks, diplomas and memorable gifts.

It should be noted that the song contest “Eki Zhuldyz” has been traditionally held at the school since 2015. The competition lights up new stars of the school year after year.
