The NIS Taraz team became the winner of the I Republican school entrepreneurship championship held within the framework of Enactus Kazakhstan Online National Expo 2020.
In September, young startups will compete for the title of champion at the Enactus world Cup.
In the Republican stage, the team presented two business projects. This is an UnApp application to simplify the process of entering Universities, where each graduate can find all the information they need and BinEco – a system for monitoring garbage cans in the city. Thanks to sensors installed on garbage cans, solid waste removal companies can optimize the garbage collection process.
– We all understand that the world is driven by business and science. That is why, by doing science, we strive to create a comfortable and favorable environment for people’s lives, – says BinEco project commander Sayazhan Onlasyn.
The team of the Nazarbayev Intellectual school of Taraz consisted of 17 talented students in grades 9-11. In total, about 300 schoolchildren from all over the country took part in Enactus Kazakhstan.
– By taking part in this competition, the guys have reached a new level. They showed their entrepreneurial skills, and their work during the summer holidays showed their results. Then the children will apply for copyright and enter the real market, – said Deputy Director Aliya Zhusanbayeva.
The Republican school entrepreneurship championship (RSHP) is an annual competition held by the international community Enactus, in which school teams of young entrepreneurs compete for the title of champion. This year it was held for the first time in Kazakhstan, in an online format.
NIS students in Taraz won prizes at the XIX Republican competition of research projects and creative works “Zerde”.
