How do NIS Taraz psychologists use their knowledge and capabilities in the current situation

The answer to this question was shared by teachers-psychologists of the Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Taraz during a training webinar for teachers-psychologists of secondary schools in the region.

Employees of the NIS psychological service, represented by Natalia Balakina, Nurbanu Baitelieva and Irina Magay, presented their colleagues with material from the experience of working with students of the “risk group” and their parents. Were revealed the questions of the peculiarities of psychological support of the educational process aimed at ensuring the psychological safety of students in the pre-school period.

The system of work of the psychological service of the school with all participants of the educational process to achieve the well-being of each student is presented. The key points of working with students of the “risk group” are presented in a logical sequence: from questions of identifying children at risk, to practical recommendations for working with them.

The speakers of the webinar paid special attention to the combined form of work with students, teachers and parents in the aspects of counseling, correction, education and diagnosis.

On the topic “Effective methods of working with parents”, the psychological service of the school presented forms and types of work in various formats: a series of trainings for parents “Secrets of well-being”, the program “Strong Family”, “Suicide Prevention”, thematic meetings, the school portal “Safe Family”, counseling, the stand “Psychological Fence”.

As the most effective form of work to achieve the well-being of the student, teachers-psychologists of the school identified the programs “Strong Family” and “We are just a family”, the purpose of which is to improve communication between parents and children through psychological interaction in the training. In more detail was presented the program “We are just a family”, conducted in an online format, aimed at warming relationships in the family and arming students and their parents with tools for effective interaction.
