Teacher practice research: how to formalize the results of achieving the PDG?

In Taraz NIS was organized a series of methodological sections for teachers together with NU, which aims to improve the quality of publications and research of teachers in journals with a high impact factor.

The first methodological section was devoted to the topic: “Writing articles for scientific publications: case studies and systematic literature reviews”. On this topic, doctoral student of the Higher School of Nazarbayev University Laura Ibraeva shared her experience.

In her speech, she elaborated on the types and structure of scientific articles, such as an article based on a systematic analysis of the literature, an article based on empirical and theoretical research. According to the speaker, many of the obstacles to writing and publishing can be avoided by following some simple guidelines and practices.

– The first thing that a researcher should think about is to conduct research on practice and reflect on the results of research. Even before you start the process of writing an article, you need to answer a few questions, for example: in which journal should you publish an article? Does your research on practice fit this journal?  It is necessary to study the basic requirements for these types of articles. Only after a positive response to them, it makes sense to start working directly on the text, – the speaker shared.

The next methodological section in this direction is scheduled for the end of the month.
