Teachers of Nazarbayev Intellectual school of Taraz taught English to more than 70 students of city schools. The ten-day course included not only English, but also a variety of interactive activities. These include intellectual and sports games, creative competitions and trainings.
The English language course was offered free of charge to children from low-income families. Intellectual school plans to hold such events on a regular basis.
– I attend English courses. Classes are very interesting. We do various exercises, read books, play fun games. The lesson time passes quickly, – said 6th grade student Aigerim.
Also in the Summer school framework were held the courses on a fee basis. They were held in the areas of robotics and STEM. About 30 students of secondary schools expressed their desire to participate in the courses.
During the program, students learned the basics of physics and electrical engineering, learned modeling and design. They also learned technical modeling, robotics and programming of robots using a computer.
NIS students in Taraz won prizes at the XIX Republican competition of research projects and creative works “Zerde”.
