The working day of Tuesday in Nazarbayev Intellectual school of Taraz ended with joyful news. School principal Talgat Bainazarov received a letter from the Council of International Schools (CIS) about the successful accreditation.
In 2015, the school received the status of a member of the Council of International Schools. From September 29 to October 5, 2018, nine independent experts from around the world visited Nazarbayev Intellectual school of physics and mathematics in Taraz. The participants of the team visit met with staff, students and parents, evaluated the organization of the educational process and analyzed the overall activities of the school in seven priority areas.
– Joining the CIS community opens wide prospects for us and at the same time requires constant self – improvement of the school, – said the principal of the school Talgat Bainazarov.
The team visit of the Council of International Schools coincided with the celebration of the anniversary of the school. The foreign guests highly appreciated the performance of talented students at the gala concert of “At the turn of the 5th anniversary” dedicated to the 5th birthday of the school.
– I really liked the warm and cozy atmosphere in the school, which is an important aspect of successful learning. I am delighted with the responsive and open-minded students who are ready to help anyone at any time. We highly estimated the level of the organization of educational process and equipment of educational offices, – admitted the Chairman of the Commission Patricia Mertin.
Taraz Intellectual school was founded on July 4, 2013. For five years, the school has released 400 graduates. In the 2017-2018 school year, 147 graduates of the 158 received state grants. 44 graduates entered Nazarbayev University, 15-received invitations to study at the universities of near and far abroad.
NIS students in Taraz won prizes at the XIX Republican competition of research projects and creative works “Zerde”.
