The tournament on chess among students of Nazarbayev Intellectual schools was held on the basis of the Intellectual School of the chemical-biological direction of Karaganda on October 13, 14 this year. The tournament is held annually on the initiative of the Autonomous Educational Organization “Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools”.
The purpose of the tournament is the promotion and popularization of the ancient game among schoolchildren, the development of their intellectual and creative abilities, as well as the selection for the republican chess tournament.
Honor of Nazarbayev Intellectual school of Taraz was represented by Alibek Askar, Sharkiyabek Moldir, Serikbay Abzal, Kashkunova Ayana, among whom Alibek Askar, a pupil of the 9th grade of school, took the third place. Serikbay Abzal and Kashkunova Ayana won the fourth place, Sharkiyabek Moldir was the fifth in her age category.
Students from the Intellectual schools of the cities of Almaty, Atyrau, Astana and Pavlodar received permits for the republican chess tournament among schoolchildren, which will be held from October 28 to December 4, 2017 in Kyzylorda. We congratulate the finalists on their victory and wish them continued success!
