17 students of NIS Taraz became prize-winners of the international distance Olympiad named after al-Farabi in subjects of the natural and mathematical cycle.
Aliya Anarbayeva and Inabat Amantay took the first places of the Olympiad. The winners of the second places were Merey Zhaksylykova, Danabek Saliev, Nuray Narshibayeva, Dinara Sauytbek, Aikerim Narbota, Kasymkhan Kanatbek, Meirambek Sanzhar. Third place was won by Bekzat Tokbolat, Ansar Asilbek, Nuray Kassymova, Azamat Duiset, Zhanel Serikova, Asylkhan Smet, Arsen Anarbek.
– The international Olympiad was held in mathematics, physics, biology, chemistry and geography for students in grades 10. Our school was represented by 23 students. Of these, 2 students took first place, 8 students took second place, and 7 students took third place. We participate in this Olympiad every year, students achieve good results, – said Aliya Zhusanbayeva, Deputy Principal of the Nazarbayev Intellectual school of Taraz.
The international Olympiad is held annually by the Republican scientific and practical center “Daryn”. This year, in honor of the 1150th anniversary of the great thinker Abu Nasr al-Farabi, the Olympiad was held with a large coverage of participants. 16,517 students took part across the country.
NIS students in Taraz won prizes at the XIX Republican competition of research projects and creative works “Zerde”.
